What is the difference between Wayangpuri head spa and regular head spa?

It is the first head spa specialty store in Japan and has already received 100,000 customers. General head spas are expected to have hair beauty treatments and relaxation effects, but in addition to these effects, Wayanpuri works on the three major body fluids of the human body, blood, lymph, and cerebrospinal fluid, which cannot be experienced anywhere else, so that the hair and scalp can be stimulated. This is a state-of-the-art head spa that utilizes specialized technology that can fundamentally improve your worries and physical ailments at the same time.

What kind of techniques and treatments do you use?

Many issues affecting the head and body are often linked to "twisting and misalignment" in the body. At WAYANPURI, our specialized techniques go beyond carbonated jet pore cleansing for the scalp. We also provide intensive upper-body care starting from the head, including lymphatic treatments for the neck, shoulders, and décolletage. By helping to correct the body’s "twisting and misalignment", we support healthy circulation and help nutrients reach from the upper body to the scalp.
As a result, our treatments may help relieve common concerns often described as general discomfort—such as migraines, eye strain, neck and shoulder stiffness, and fatigue—while also supporting a healthier scalp environment for issues like hair shedding, thinning hair, and fine hair. This is a one-of-a-kind head spa treatment pioneered in Japan.

How soon can I feel the effects?

We have received a lot of positive feedback from our customers, saying that it is completely different from what we do or what we don't do. Many of our clients have experienced immediate relief from headaches, neck and shoulder tension, eye strain, and overall body discomfort after just one treatment. However, at WAYANPURI, we aim for more than temporary relief. To prevent the recurrence of similar issues, we focus on addressing the root cause of the problem. While individual results may vary, many clients have reported experiencing significantly improved results after consistently visiting us twice a month for over three months. To enhance and prolong the effects of our salon treatments, we also recommend using our personalized home care products. Do you offer blow-drying, hair styling, or haircuts?

We provide light hair drying assistance by our therapists. For final blow-drying or styling, dressing tables are available for guests to use on their own. As we are a head spa specialty salon, we do not offer haircut services.

Can I book only shampoo or treatment services?

We do not offer shampoo or treatment services as standalone menus. All treatments are provided as part of our head spa programs.

How often do you recommend going to see results?

The accumulation of past lifestyle habits is the cause of current troubles and disorders, so it is difficult to make general statements, but first of all, it is necessary to remove the waste products that have accumulated in the past and incorporate healthy habits into your life. Although there are individual differences, many people have experienced the effects of regular visits to our clinic twice a month in order to achieve homeostasis. In addition, many customers come to our clinic once a month for maintenance to maintain good physical condition even after their concerns and discomfort have been resolved.

Questions regarding head spa treatments

Q1

I'm interested in a head spa, but there are multiple courses and I don't know which one is right for me. How can I make a reservation?

When you visit us, a counselor will listen to your concerns and symptoms and recommend the most suitable course.

I'm worried because I have sensitive skin, but is it okay to receive a head spa?

During your consultation, you can perform a free patch test of the hair care products you use. If you have sensitive skin, please consult us.

Is curly hair acceptable for treatment?

Please send a photo of your hair in advance via email or Instagram DM when booking. Depending on equipment and treatment procedures, head spa services may not be suitable in some cases.

I am pregnant, can I still receive the treatment?

Treatments can be performed even during pregnancy, but only from the stable period until the 7th month of pregnancy. Since your body is important to you, we will listen to your needs during your consultation and respond to your needs with the utmost care.

My hair is quite long now, can I still receive head spa treatment?

At our salon, we charge an additional 550 yen for long hair that is below the shoulder length, and 1,100 yen for super long hair that is below the chest. Please note that if your hair is long, such as below your waist, your hair may touch the floor during the treatment and we may not be able to provide sufficient service, so we may not be able to accept your request.

Can I have the treatment done before and after color or perm?

As long as your scalp does not become irritated, there is no particular safety issue. However, regardless of the head spa used at our salon, there is a possibility that color and perm may come off, just like with regular shampoo. Also, depending on the type of color or perm, the condition of the color or perm may change drastically as it does not adhere to the hair immediately after. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any changes in color or perm condition after receiving a head spa.

Can I do my makeup and hair before leaving?

All stores have a dedicated dresser so that you can take your time putting on your makeup and hair when you leave.

Q1

Is pre-booking required?

Yes. As we operate by appointment only with fully private rooms, advance reservations are required. However, same-day availability may be possible depending on vacancies. For same-day bookings, please contact us via Instagram DM.

Is it possible to make a same-day reservation?

Of course it is possible. However, depending on the reservation status, it may be difficult to accept your reservation.

Can I cancel on the day?

Please note that if you cancel on the day or without prior notice, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the full treatment fee. In addition, if you wish to change or cancel your reservation, please contact us by phone by 3:00 pm the day before, and we will accept it free of charge.

If I make a reservation using the reservation form, will my reservation be confirmed even if I don't receive any notification?

Even if you make a reservation using the reservation form, your reservation is not yet complete. Our salon will contact you to confirm your reservation or, if fully booked, to suggest another day.

Do you offer pair or group discounts?

We do not offer pair or group discounts; however, group reservations are welcome. All rooms are private to ensure a peaceful experience, so the number of guests we can accommodate at one time is limited. For pair or group bookings, please contact us in advance.

Are male guests welcome?

Of course you can. Many male customers visit Wayanpuri. Our counselors will be happy to assist you, so please feel free to visit us.

From what age can treatments be received?

Treatments are available for children from elementary school age and above.

Is your service tax-free?

Our head spa services are not eligible for tax-free purchases. We offer Japan’s first authentic professional head spa experience.

Are there any fees such as joining fees or annual fees?

We don't charge any enrollment or membership fees.

Does age matter?

Guests who require special care due to their age may not be eligible for our head spa treatments.

May I bring my child with me?

We do not have baby rooms, so we kindly ask guests not to bring infants or toddlers. Depending on the location, elementary school–aged children may be allowed to wait quietly in the same room during the treatment. Please contact us in advance when making your reservation.

Can I change clothes or prepare in a private room?

Yes. From changing clothes to treatment, everything is done in a fully private room. Guests wearing headwear or scarves can feel comfortable visiting us.

Is there dedicated parking available?

Unfortunately, we do not have a dedicated parking lot. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We recommend using a nearby coin-operated parking lot.
